PRESENTED BY:

DELL RAPIDS (8-0) @ DAKOTA VALLEY (6-2)

KICKOFF: 7:00 PM

STREAMING: www.metrosportstv.com Mitch McCumber (pxp)

Final regular season game tonight for head coach Jeff Vandenhul and the playoff bound Panthers who have put together a really nice season this fall. Tonight's home game will feature the undefeated (8-0) Quarriers of head coach Ross Flemer fresh off last season's state championship squad and continues to build momentum here in 2022.

Metro Sports TV play by play voice Mitch McCumber who is calling tonight's game has some thoughts on the contest. "The Panthers will need to do what they do best and get off to a hot start as on the season they have outscored their opponents 158-55 in the first half. I look for Dell Rapids to slow down the Panther passing attack and feel the Panthers will have success in the running game offensively. A high scoring game should be on full display. I look for this game to be played in the 30's and whoever wins the turnover battle will ultimately be victorious," stated McCumber.

The Panther's are led offensively by senior QB Ethan Anema who has completed (58%) of his passes for (1,296) yards and (12) touchdowns. The main receiving targets are a pair of basketball standouts with senior WR Jaxon Hennies (29) receptions for (492) yards and (5) touchdowns and senior flanker Randy Rosenquist Jr who has (24) catches for (408) yards and (4) scores. Junior Trae Piel has added (10) catches for (161) yards and (3) touchdowns. The running game is paced by senior Lake Kistner (308) yards and (4) scores and Jackson Boonstra with (289) yards and (3) scores on the ground. The Panther defense which is allowing only (11.7) ppg is led by Rosenquist in the defensive backfield with (61) tackles and linebacker Trae Piel with (56) tackles and (11) TFL.
