I was able to catch up with a few coaches earlier this week and get their thoughts on what they were able to take away from the scrimmages last Friday night.

HINTON HEAD COACH: Kadrian Hardersen

"I felt that we had a good scrimmage overall. There were alot of areas that we need to improve one, namely staying more fundamental when the play starts, but I think it is fixable with more focus post snap. It was a good starting point to see how we match-up against someone wearing a different colored jersey"

SC NORTH HEAD COACH: Mitch Mohr

"The scrimmage was a big step forward for our group. Our youth really showed their development, and it was encouraging to see some players start to create separation in their position groups. We're moving in the right direction and building confidence as a team"

"I thought our scrimmage went well. The kids were excited to go up against another team! Offensively, we were able to see our guys get lined up and know their responsibilities. Defensively, I thought our guys did a nice job with their alignment and assignments and playing fast! We are excited to get the season underway"
