One of the Midwest's best WR prospects resides at Sioux City East H.S. Current sophomore Isaiah Grant was recently recognized by RIVALS Sports as the #52 WR in the class of 2028!

Grant 6-2 (185) had a coming out party last fall during his sophomore season. Grant played a significant role in helping lead a deep playoff run for the Black Raiders with his dynamic route running and big play capability. Grant grabbed (47) receptions for (734) yards and (8) scores while averaging (15.6) yards per catch. It is important to note that there were (166) other receptions by teammates last fall.

This is a prolific offense that passed for (2,873) yards last fall and returns three other key receivers from a season ago. Senior QB Cal Jepsen a Western Kentucky baseball recruit graduates and sophomore QB Callan Koch takes over the huddle this fall. The Black Raiders will also feature a new offensive coordinator who has not been officially named as of today. Longtime offensive coordinator Bob Goodvin has retired this off-season.

I look for Grant to approach (60) receptions this fall and top (900) yards receiving. Grant is the real deal and will continue to see his game rise this fall for a team that should contend for a state title in Class 5A in Iowa. Grant currently holds offers from IOWA, IOWA STATE, WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS AND KANSAS. This list will continue to grow for a young man who has two years of high school football remaining.
