SSI Football: Off-Season Update! Plenty of Talent Across Siouxland Will Take The Field In 2026!

It is never to early to start thinking about the 2026 HS Football Season! I will be debuting my In Home Visit Podcast presented by Bob Roe's Point After and North End-Zone later this month.

I will be connecting with players across Siouxland who will be household names this fall. We will discuss off-season training, recruiting and the recruiting process in this day and age of social media. I recently signed a contract as a football scout and work for an amazing company called NXTGen Recruits. NXTGen does offer a paid service and would like to help aspiring student-athletes to reach their academic and athletic goals and find the right fit to spend the next 4-5 years.

FEBRUARY UPDATE: The amount of talent at Sioux City East is pretty incredible. Junior OLB/TE Kason Clayborne 6-3 (220) has offers from Kansas, Minnesota, Kansas State and most recently Purdue. Clayborne who had (51.0) tackles and (10.5) TFL will likely have more offers come his way this spring. Clayborne is also an elite baseball prospect and will have suitors there as well.

Isaiah Grant 6-2 (185) Sophomore WR of Sioux City East is an electric performer who torched defenses last fall to the tune of (47) receptions for (734) yards and (8) touchdowns. Grant, entering his junior season this coming fall holds offers from Iowa State, Kansas and Wisconsin. It will be interesting to see how many new offers arrive this spring. Grant is a top 3 WR in the state of Iowa and steadily rising in my opinion.

Justin Ehlers 6-0 (190) Sophomore CB of Sergeant Bluff-Luton is a 2028 prospect that is just starting his ascention in recruiting circles. Ehlers is a skilled athlete that racked up (38) tackles, (2) INT's and (6) PBU and will be a key player on the Warrior team this fall.
