I really enjoy covering recruiting for Prep RedZone Iowa and enjoy meeting prospects and their parents. It's the fun part of what I get to do. Today, I received some news that really shook me up. Senior Bishop Heelan Crusader RB Isaiah Favors text me earlier this evening that he will be out this season due to an ankle injury he suffered last week and that he has had a successful surgery.
This is an extremely talented young man that won't take the field tomorrow night. Favors is an excellent college prospect and I am certain he has provided motivation for his teammates. Just a reminder for everyone that takes the field tomorrow night how grateful you should be for the opportunity to play under the Friday Night Lights. I will remain in touch with you Isaiah!
