The state of Iowa begins high school football practice August 8th across the state in preparation for week #1 games taking place either August 25th or August 26th .There are two week zero contests with Sioux City School involvement.
On August 19th, the SC West Wolverines will travel to Council Bluffs to take on Thomas Jefferson at 7:00 PM. Twenty miles south of Council Bluffs, SC East will kickoff at Glenwood, IA at 7:00 PM. Schools with week zero games will begin practice on August 1st. SSI will have team practice reports and updates beginning next week.
