I appreciate the coaches that I have emailed for getting their Q&A form turned in which has allowed me to begin the process of of writing the team previews.
In proofing and going over schedules some early season games jump off the screen! Practice officially starts in Iowa on August 8th. Here is an early curtain riser on the schedule to wet your football appetite in week zero.

AUGUST 19TH: SC EAST @ GLENWOOD: If you like to watch the play in the trenches and teams swapping paint then this is the game for you. The Glenwood Rams feature talented 6-3 (260) senior OT Logyn Eckheart a 2nd team all-state performer last year. Eckheart has (11) current scholarship offers and will garner others.
Squaring off with Eckheart will be a veteran Black Raider defensive line that features 2nd team all-stater and current South Dakota State verbal commit as of July 2nd, senior Nick Wells 6-3 (245) at DE along with senior DT Cale Pittenger 6-1 (250) inside who holds a current Morningside University offer and is drawing interest from others. The Black Raider defense returns (9) starters. This is a quality opener for week zero.
