The OABCIG Falcons of head coach Larry Allen had a huge win on their home field Friday night 18-14 over a very good Tri-Center Trojan team. The Trojans led at halftime 14-6, The Falcons scored the final (12) points in the second half to move to (2-0) on the young season.


QB Raif Jensen passed for (170) yards and (1) touchdown. Jensen was also a factor in the run game along with RB Kade Spotts who rushed for (58) yards. The Falcon defense held off Trojan QB AJ Harder who passed for (359) yards and (2) scores. The Falcons play on the road this Friday, September 12 at (1-1) BHRV.


The SBL Warriors bounced back nicely at home this past Friday and earned a 30-27 victory over a very good Lewis Central team. The Warriors wore out the Titans on the ground as they rushed for (497) yards and (4) touchdowns to move to (1-1). The Warriors dominated time of possession and held the Titan offensive attack to (264) total yards. Junior RB Ryan Husen rushed for a game high (207) yards and (2) touchdowns. The Warriors host (2-0) Council Bluffs TJ this Friday, September 12!


SSI wants to congratulate head coach Lee Irvine on his first victory at West High! The Wolverines (1-1) defeated the South Sioux City Cardinals 19-7! The Wolverines took a 12-0 halftime lead and scored in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Sophomore QB Tavin Irvine rushed for (77) yards and passed for (53) yards with one passing touchdown and one rushing on the evening. Junior Kash Olson finished with (8.5) tackles for the Wolverines. The Wolverines will host the SC North Stars (0-2) this Friday September 12 at Olsen Stadium.



The Dakota Valley Panthers were victorious over Canton 35-14 in their homecoming game to move to (1-1) on the season. Congratulations to senior RB Bennett Lukken who rushed for (292) yards and (5) touchdowns! The Panthers will host (0-2) Lakota Tech this Friday night September 12.
