SC EAST: The Black Raiders meet the Stars tonight at Olsen Stadium for TNF! Senior QB Cal Jepsen who has passed for (4,703) yards and (43) touchdowns at the varsity level over the last two seasons is looking to add to his assault on the Black Raider passing numbers in 2025. Jepsen has some very athletic receivers to work with including junior WR/LB Kason Clayborne 6-3 (220), sophomore Isaiah Grant 6-2 (190) and senior Austin Sheppard 5-11 (180). The defense is led up front by senior DT Colin Pittenger 6-1 (255) and senior DE Jack Ohman 6-5 (235).

SC NORTH: The Stars have put together a solid camp and are looking to mature quickly this fall with a young but talented group of players. Sophomore QB Trey Henry 5-8 (170) will trigger the Stars offense as they will look to get Henry in space and allow him to use his athleticism. Senior TE/LB Austin Nelson 6-3 (220) is a solid inline blocking TE and has a good feel in mid-range passing routes. Senior Jack Mogensen 5-8 (170) is a willing tackler on defense and will be active tonight in the defensive secondary.

SSI TOMORROW'S HEADLINES TODAY: I think most people will be impressed tonight by what they saw from Jepsen's accuracy and get to know an emerging star in sophomore Isaiah Grant. SC North QB Henry is slippery and is a dual threat QB that can keep broken plays alive. The Stars junior TE Andrew Hagan 6-4 (210) could have a decent night with increased targets from Henry. Black Raider senior LB Jake Breyfogle should impress in piling up some tackles in the run game. The duo of Black Raider DT/DE Pittenger and Ohman should shine. WHO IS THAT KID? Tonight is the debut of SC East sophomore transfer Tanner Boonstra formerly of Dakota Valley.
