SSI Football: Siouxland Area Player Watch List!

With the beginning of the 2024 high school football season rapidly approaching, I've decided to put some pre-season lists together regarding talent in the Siouxland area. Let's start with some of my impact players regardless of class. I will continue to build the list out each week until camp starts!

PRESENTED BY:

MMCRU WR Senior Jace Colling 6-3 (180): Colling is a talented and experienced WR that demonstrates good body control with his height and has soft hands. Last fall, Colling grabbed (33) passes for (407) yards and (6) touchdowns. Good potential here at the college level either NAIA or D2 prospect.

WEST LYON RB Senior Tate Hawf 5-11 (195): Here is one of my favorite players in NW Iowa. Hawf from a tradition rich program is labeled by me as a "football player" and I mean that with the utmost respect. Hawf rushed for (779) yards and (14) touchdowns last fall. Hawf will be a leader on a team that should be loaded this season and make a run at a trip to the UNI Dome. College prospect without a doubt and has had numerous programs show interest.

SERGEANT BLUFF-LUTON DE Senior Blake Dunagan 6-4 (240): Dunagan is a rangy defensive end with a (78) inch wingspan that is coming off a productive junior season with (25.5) tackles and (6) TFL. Dunagan is drawing interest from several college level programs and is in-line for a huge senior season. Very good prospect with a high ceiling.

HINTON QB/LB Senior Gabriel Anderson 6-3 (190): Anderson has had a busy spring having camped at several different schools and is being projected as a linebacker at the next level. Anderson has an ideal frame to add weight. Anderson passed for (401) yards and (4) scores last fall. Defensively, Anderson returns as the #2 returning tackler for the Blackhawks with (43.0) tackles. Good college prospect on the defensive side of the football.

WEST LYON RB/LB Senior Jaxan Huyser 6-1 (200): Another talented prospect on the West Lyon roster is senior Huyser who is the team's returning leading tackler (55.0) and TFL (11.0). Huyser, also tacked on (232) yards on the ground rushing and (11) touchdowns. Huyser is drawing interest from D1 and D2 schools and recently received an offer from UND. Will be a great addition to a college roster.
