SSI Football: More Interviews From Media Day!

SSI pre-season football coverage continues with interviews of a pair of talented players from NW Iowa.

Our first interview today is with standout 3-year starting senior Brady Lynott 6-2 (210) of the West Sioux Falcons who is a returning first team all-state player. Lynott has been a swiss army knife for the Falcons over his career on both sides of the football. Lynott had (6) rushing touchdowns last fall to go along with (50) receptions and (13) touchdown passes from QB Dylan Wiggins. Lynott tallied (1,141) all-purpose yards.

On defense, Lynott excelled from his LB spot and is the leading returning tackler with (71) stops and (8.5) TFL last fall. Lynott is an excellent college prospect and is receiving interest from several schools. Lynott recorded a (4.41) Pro Agility score at a combine this past May. Lynott is currently ranked as the #30 prospect in the 2023 class for the state of Iowa by Prep RedZone. Excellent college prospect! Drawing interest from U.S.D. and SDSU among others.

Our second interview today is with senior OT/G Garrett Divis 6-5 (275) of the Hinton Blackhawks. Divis is a solid run blocker with long arms to get separation and moves his feet really well for a good sized kid. Divis shows good athleticism on his Hudl film blocking downfield and owning the line of scrimmage often. Divis has put in great work on his game this summer in preparation of kickoff. Divis holds a current offer from Wayne State College, University of Sioux Falls and as mentioned in the interview below has recently been offered by South Dakota School of Mines. Solid prospect at the next level.
