SSI Football: 2025 Players To Watch Article Series Debuts Today!

PRESENTED BY:

Now that we are inside of 100 days from fall camp beginning, I will be posting each Friday a new article with names of key players who have had success or those stepping into bigger roles this season. I will also be posting an article series on rising performers that will be a fun read on sophomores and juniors ready to breakout this season! Let's Kick things off!

SENIOR LB JOEY HARDY 6-4 (229)

One senior I am really high on is 2nd team all-state LB Hardy of SBL. The Warrior senior to be piled up (56) tackles and (11.5) TFL and has added (15) lbs. of good weight this off-season. Hardy is very good as an OLB and is a threat on the line of scrimmage when he covers up an offensive tackle as he typically dominates that match-up with good feet and great leverage. I feel Hardy will be in on over (70) stops this season and will raise his (2.5) sacks to over (10.0) this year. Hardy holds current offers from Army, U.S.D. and Western Illinois. I look for other offers to roll in after early senior season game tape is made available. X: @hardyjoey123

SENIOR DE/DT JACK OHMAN 6-5 (220)

The Black Raider defense has several solid players and Ohman had an impressive junior season racking up (33) tackles working inside at DT and outside at DE. In watching film, Ohman takes very good angles on defense and is excellent in backside pursuit with his long frame and creates plays with his athleticism. Ohman had (9.5) TFL and I feel that number will increase to around (12.0) this fall. Ohman has drawn interest from several schools including Wayne State College, U.S.D. and U.N.I. to name a few. Stay tuned more offers to come! X: @jackohman21

SENIOR QB/ATH JAXON PAULSRUD 6-0 (190)

Here is an experienced leader for the Braves who is a play-maker on the field on both sides of the football! New head coach Kris Alesch will be happy to unleash QB Paulsrud who passed for (968) yards and (9) scores and rushed for (866) yards and (8) touchdowns as a junior. Paulsrud also collected (55.5) tackles and (11.0) TFL from his linebacker position. Paulsrud likely projects on the defensive side of the football at the next level. This talented athlete should have a dynamic senior season as he is hearing from Air Force (offered), Iowa, Iowa State, U.N.I. and Army have also shown interest.
