Congratulations to the SBL Lady Warriors and coaching staff as they secured a spot in the girls state basketball tournament with a 56-38 victory over Des Moines Christian last night in Denison. Maddie Hinkel led the team with (21) points and Emma Salker added (16) to help the Warriors pull away in the second half. Congratulations to Salker who went over 1,000 career points in the contest! The #5 seed Warriors (20-4) will square off against #4 seed ELC (23-2) on Monday, February 28th at 6:45 PM. Much more to come on this match-up as the Warriors close in on tip-off.
